Research Technician

I am a current research technician in the Sgourakis Lab. I graduated from Swarthmore College with a Bachelors in biochemistry and Spanish. While at Swarthmore, I worked in the Fera lab studying the coevolution between broadly neutralizing antibodies and the HIV spike protein. After Swarthmore, I complete a Fulbright Research Fellowship in the Hervás-Stubbs Lab at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. In Pamplona, I worked to validate a transcriptomic profile which can be used to identify tumor specific, therapeutically effective TCRs for T cell receptor therapy in solid tumor cancers. In the Sgourakis Lab, I am working on a project thats aims to increase antigenicity of solid tumors which are phenotypically “cold”. Outside of lab, I love to bake and sing in choirs!
